The Board of Sterling has noted today's press comment speculating on the possibility of an offer being made for Fusion Oil & Gas PLC ('Fusion').

The Board of Sterling confirms that it has made an approach to the Board of Fusion, which may or may not lead to an offer from Sterling for the entire issued share capital of Fusion.
